The animation community is welcome to celebrate Animation Day on April 1,2008 in Burbank, California. This is the 10th year in a row of a tradition which started in 1999. Animation Day is a social gathering celebrating fraternal goodwill between professionals in the animation industry. Everyone is welcome. The event is sponsored by The Animation Academy and AnimationNation.com. There'll be plenty of pizza and people, including a celebration of AWN's 12th anniversary.
Animation Day will be held at the Burbank Association of Realtors Hall located at 2006 W. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank, 91506 on Tuesday evening, April 1st from 7:30 to 10:00 pm. Doors open at 7:00. Free parking. A $5 donation is requested to help pay for food.
Celebrate unity, commaderie and the creative spirit that makes the animation industry unique in the field of entertainment.

It's almost here!
Animation Day 2008 is right around the corner!
Thank you very much for visiting this blog over the past 11 months. A special thanks to the many international visitors we've had during this time. It's very heartening to see this kind of activity.
Animation Day in Burbank, California will be sponsored by The Animation Academy and celebrated the evening of April 1 at the hall of the Burbank Association of Realtors located at 2006 W. Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank. We'll be having a pizza party and welcoming visitors from professionals to students to friends who believe in what Animation Day represents. The event is free except for a $5 donation we'll be asking if you'd like to eat so we can cover the cost of the food.
I'll be following up with more details over the next few days as we get closer to April 1.
